Welcome to The Moorings Bed and Breakfast, Charmouth. Our position, on a quiet, no-through road, offers you total peace and privacy, stunning uninterrupted views of the sea and Golden Cap, with only a two minute walk to the beach through the secluded garden.

Charmouth is a charming seaside village close to the Dorset/Devon border. Unspoilt and with beautiful surrounding countryside, Charmouth is also renowned worldwide as the focal point of the Jurassic Coast – the UK’s only natural UNESCO World Heritage Site – with its unique geology and fossils. The beach is long and sandy and when the tide is ebbing, wonderful walks can be enjoyed whilst marvelling at the beautiful scenery.

The Accommodation

Our modern, self-contained accommodation has a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The spacious, light-filled room has a well-equipped kitchenette including a kettle, toaster and fridge.

The French doors open out onto a patio overlooking the terraced garden where you can enjoy your breakfast whilst taking in the stunning uninterrupted views of the sea and Golden Cap.

The beach, accessed through the garden, is only a two minute walk away.

It is only a ten minute walk to the village with its many amenities including shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes.

We are sorry but we are unable to accommodate children or pets.

Breakfast

A delicious continental breakfast is provided, including cereals, fresh local bread, yogurts, juice, homemade preserves, fresh fruit and organic teas and coffee.

We are happy to meet most dietary requirements.
